There's no let-up from Karl at the moment, with the third installment of the Pure NRG CDs just around the corner featuring a few of Karl's recent productions and some from the scene's future stars. 'Nocturnal' is a late-night thumper with a meaty off-beat bass line driving the track along. The title comes from the iconic lyrics from Samantha Fu's 'Themes From Discotheque', and the track is quite progressive in structure to match. Honorable mentions go to Valex and Ewan Jones filth-fests. 4/5
