Oi Oi peeps

Hope you are having a better start to the new year than I am, anyway some good news ahead, I have been asked to announce these dates early so some people can plan their holidays around them so there will be 2 Riverdance Boat Parties this year, 8 weeks apart.

Sunday 2nd August - Riverdance 12 – The Summer Splash
Sunday 27th September – Riverdance – The 9th Birthday Bash

The boat has been over subscribed for the last 4 years so this will double everyones chances of making at least 1 date as in the past it has always clashed with a wedding/festival/prebooked holiday/family birthday for somebody.

The boat will again be the Golden Jubilee as the Sundance has now been sold so the Jubilee is the biggest vessal they have got at 240 capacity.

The main boat lineups will feature our regular DJs such Jedi, Faydz, J.C. Maxx Vinyl with legendary guests such as Pilgrim, Dr S Gachet, Vibes, Glenn Aston plus the long awaited return of Herman and the Vinyl Junkie.

The afterparty lineups will have regulars Strongforce (the Prince of Darkness), Kendrix, G Magikal with guest slots from Jason J, Bosha, Vinyl Vera, Dave Skywalker.

Mc duties will again be the Strict (for the 9th year running), Ice and a guest slot from the host with the most, the legendary Ribbz.

The flyer will be out on May 2nd, tickets will be out on June 21st priced again at a mere £23.

Oi Oi shipmates

Its 22 Hours to Riverdance and there are still a limited number of tickets on the door, call me if you want to reserve a place on 07768 476 140.

Phat Sound System in the van, DJs primed to give you the very best in Old Skool Hardcore/Breaks/Belguim. Boat for 200 people ready to take you down the Thames as far as the QE2 bridge and back again with free afterparty at the Barco on Temple Pier till 11pm, anybody that cant make the main boat is welcome to come to the afterparty.

Travel: Be aware that there is a Triathlon taking place in the Docklands and Tower Hill areas so the roads are all closed around there till 6 pm and near the boat till noon.

If you are coming from the East you will need to go around these areas to get to the usual parking spaces as you cant drive along the river before noon, please allow extra time for your journey as the boat leaves at noon sharp.

London Transport: As usual on weekends there are several Tube lines out of action so check before you travel. Central, Jubilee, Metropolitian, and District line all have delays, please allow extra time for your journey as the boat leaves at noon sharp.

For those with SatNav the postcode of the boat is WC2R 2PN and there is plenty of parking on Temple Place and Arundel St/Milford Lane, You can park free on a meter or a single yellow on a Sunday. Beware of residents parking bays, you will get clamped.

Weather: Looks like Sunny Intervals so no change there, typical August.
