BIOGRAPHY

Riccocha the DJ, Producer, Remixer and now the Rising Star. Named as Mixmag magazines favourite ONE TO WATCH STAR for 2008. Nominated for Best Up and Coming Artist, Best Live Performance and Best Released Production (Eletrik) at the Northern Ireland Dance Music Awards 2008. Riccocha has stepped up his game, are you ready for 2009.

As a dj, Riccocha is firmly stamping his mark internationally and has become one of the hottest acts to hit the club scene in a long time. Creating a mass media stir for his highly energetic dj sets teasing the crowds into frenzy. Riccocha’s sets consist of non stop fully charged and banging energy complete with the twisting and bending of electro sounds live and direct. When Riccocha is behind the cdj’s you know who’s in control and your in for a great party. Riccocha is enjoying travelling to events further afield and building up his air miles nicely with bookings at events in Ibiza, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, England, Ireland and even to the far flung northern islands of Orkney & Shetland in Scotland.

As a producer, Riccocha is carving out his own slice of the global market with his own sound. His music style is trance, techno and house all packaged up into one with shuffling beats and grittiness which gives his productions a raw energy that is being recognised and supported by Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules, Solarstone, Matt Darey, Ronski Speed, Bart Claessen, Agnelli & Nelson, Mark Sherry, Marco V, Johan Gielen, Ernesto vs Bastian, M.I.K.E, Shy Brothers and many many more. Riccocha also continues to be excellently received around the globe with his productions such as ‘Eletrik’, ‘New age’ and ‘All Together Now’ being supported on radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 with Judge Jules, Vonyc Sessions with Paul Van Dyk, A State Of Trance with Armin Van Buuren, Outburst with Mark Sherry and other various major radio stations across the globe.

As a remixer. Riccocha’s raw glitchy remix and production style has been called upon on many occasions for releases such as Paul Webster’s ‘Cut Off’ (Armada), Indecent Noise’s ‘Backstabber’ (Beyond Digital), Claudia Cazacu’s ‘International Departures’ (Couture), John Gibbons & Scimon Tist’s ‘Beautiful Filth’ (Tekelec), Dave Walker’s ‘Fire’ (Detox) and many more. His remixes have all received support from the big guns in the industry and received massive party and radio air play.

As a radio dj, Riccocha’s ‘Eletrik Radio Show’ is a weekly show that broadcast’s worldwide on Sense.FM every Thursday at 6pm GMT then repeat plays on stations in Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela, United Kingdom and Ireland. Riccocha likes to use his show to preview his new productions and promote new talent. Riccocha says “Any track I play either on my show or in a club needs to have something special about it. Whether its got a great riff or it has quirky production, its just got to be upfront and new sounding”
