Having 'experimented' in the past on a fairly large scale, I can honestly say my experiences have put me more in touch with my 'inner voice' A lot of things are a wonderful tool to aid enjoyment at parties but if used sensibly. In many wrintings experiences in altered states are said to be the same thing as 'mystical experiences' of ancient religions and spiritual journeying yet the significance of them for the individual is often misunderstood. Modern writers such as Huxley knew this. I do not advocate the use of drugs but have had many visionary insightful moments that have shaped my life. I am more aware of my own actions and how they affect others. Raving and partying (although not the sole reason) has made me think about the consequences of my actions and how I can help others while at the same time sharing my (at some time far too obvious) enjoyment of life. Its all about Love people, any posts welcome those of a spiritual questioning nature especially. Tell us about any times you have had an insightful experience, found a truth about yourself, a moment of revelation good or bad (although all experience is good). Remember though - its not big and its not clever ;o) experience should be shared!!
