The fire festival is a one day event taking place in bournemouth on the 12th of
May. It is a 100% free art and music festival for the party minded people of
Bournemouth that like everything to do with the medium of fire. Apart from
showcasing some of the most cutting edge fire art about (Eg. photography,
moving image, av projection, installation and sculpture) we will be giving
you the chance to witness some of the finest fire performers you are ever
likely to see. We will be showcasing some dazzling purveyors of fire
juggling, eating, blowing, poi, staff, double staff, ropes, fire hula-hoop
and any other firey type treats for the Bournemouth streets. Whats
more we will be hosting some top notch live music across our
two very eclectic stages.

Expect to see new takes on rock n' roll, nu-folk, swing,
jive, alternative, ska, gypsy, skiffle, hoedown, folk,
hillbilly, blues, psychobilly, and many other weird and
wonderful genres that we haven't thought of yet. Keep
