Techtonic Recordings is launching over the summer of 2006, with the intentions of releasing techno and house music towards the deeper sounds and stlyes. Our mission is to bring quality tunes to the club floor and for after hours, for playing across the genres. Releases will go out on 12" and MP3, alongside special limited releases available via digital.

VORTECHTRAL
Techment and ElectraMento head honcho and frontman, joint owner of Techtonic Recordings. Feeds off hioctane funky techno and tough driving house music, huge bassline, and chunky percussion. Also known to go deeper into acid house and deep house. Big believer in live PAs and supporting the local scene. Always has laptop and keyboards at hand, performs live funky techno pas, and live ambient pas. Been producing techno, ambient and electronica since he was 13, and had releases out the US, UK, and Germany..
DANNY P AKA ASSAULT SYSTEMS
Danny P aka Assault Systems, has been producing high quality tunes since 2003, having spread his sound with superb feedback across Sony's international website Acidplanet, and been recently signed to Beatsfactoy.com, whereby his regular outputs have been downloaded and played across the globe, he joined forces with Vortechtral and DJ Aura in 2006 to create Techtonic Recordings as an outlet for his own work. Danny also plays regularly at events around the South Coast of the UK, mixing a variety of stlyes from techno, electro house, to breaks and electro.
DJ AURA
DJ Aura, began mixing trance & techno in 1999 for The House Of Missdemeanour. He built a solid reputation by utilising many styles, to create a journey that started groovey and ended tough. He progressed into more purist techno and tech-house, but always kept his specific style to create a whole that is far greater than the sum of its parts. Rich's own production has a sound that is deep, groovey, and esoterically charged, percussive, layered music that just keeps getting better technically. In 2006 he created Techtonic Recordings with Vortechtral & Danny P for his own output.
SIMON HEARTFIELD
Omnipresent and hugely experienced producer, and DJ of high calibre Dj sets and live PAs. Generally seen across the UK playing a fine blend techno across the boards. Hes played alongside many worldclass DJs such as Umek and Luke Slater. Been producing since before the days most of us were able to walk... Has released on labels in the UK, and is part of the live trio Seatmen Separator.

this is just the start of things people. this year is getting bigger and better. portsmouth and the south coasts techno house and electro scene has merged over the last year and lemme tell ya its gonna be huge. with the techtonic artists being in alliance and also good friends with huge talents like IAN VOID, DAVE ROBERTSON,UDY, CHRIS VAUX SI BLANN AND THE PUNCHFUNK DJ,S AND CREW. CHIP JACKS AKA PETE VENKMAN, DANC, CHRIS JONES, IAN G, DANNY G, ROB MOONEY, DANNY GRAHAM, DON BERRYONI, JUNIOR GEE, THE TECHNOSIS DJ,S JUSTIN SWALES AND JASON SWALES. with huge talents and names like these coming together the parties and the south coast electronic scene is just gonna get bigger and better.
