What's on your iPod? (If you have one that is!)
Basically just a slight variation on the thread Franscisco started. Got me wondering what those of you out there that have iPods (of any other MP3 player that stores your most played tracks) have been listening the most.

If your not sure where this list is it should be in your playist menu under top 25 most played. Let us know what your all bobbin your heads too...

Here's mine:
1 Dare - Gorrilaz
2 God put a smile on your face - Coldplay
3 Daylight - Coldplay
4 Passive - A Perfect Circle
5 Judith - A Perfect Circle
6 The Outsider (Resident Evil Remix) - A Perfect Circle
7 Magdalena - A Perfect Circle
8 Blue - A Perfect Circle
9 Fucking in the Bushes - Oasis
10 The Package - A Perfect Circle
11 Feel Good Inc - Gorrilaz
12 Pet - A Perfect Circle
13 SOS (Skylark Remix) - A Studio
14 Weak and Powerless - A Perfect Circle
15 Watching You - Tweak Feat. Robina
16 Cruisin' - D' Angelo
17 Ultra - KMFDM
18 Bring it Back to Love - Gerideau
19 Club Foot - Kasabian
20 L.S.F. - Kasabian
21 Novocaine for the Soul - Eels
22 Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix
23 Ch-Check it out - Beatie Boys
24 Lean Back - Fat Joe
25 Satan - Orbital

And if your thinking " blimey he must love that perfect circle lot" I can only imagine they are up there cos I listen to them all the time when I am at the gym or running, perfect jogging rock music!

Oh yeah and I suggest you only put your top ten as that 25 took me ages to write out...phew!

It's funny that you say that cos I've been hearing a lot about iPods dying on people lately. I've had two and not really had to much trouble. The first one was actually killed by yours truly by dropping it from about 6ft onto a marble floor which pretty much finished it off! Only trouble I used to have with that one was the occasional lock up which did piss me off cos you'd have to plug it into the mains and reset! Not too impressed with the nanos though, too flimsy and not enough storage space for my vast collection! It's all about the 20gig and upwards...

Know what you mean Teejay, i've been lucky with mine, had it for 3 years now and no trouble, apart from the odd lock up, which only lasts for about 30 secs.. Love it! Makes life a whole lot more bearable!! The thing with my top 25 is that there are another 100 odd songs all within 1 song of making the top 25 on mine, so today my top 25 is different :)

Del - Buy a bloody pod you pleb!

Yeah mine aren't really reflective of my faves of the moment to be honest. When I go down the gym I tend to put about five tracks on repeat for the whole time I'm there and it's normally ones from that list as they are good to run or do the rower to. I'd recommend anyone to get a iPod but not the nano as it seems to flimsy. Push the boat out and get a 20 or 30 gig one. No more carrying around fifty cds/minidiscs!

Mine's bigger than yours, Teejay.

No messing, go large - 40 gig - 10,000 songs that you'll never listen to!

Monty you bastard! The first iPod I had was a 40 gig that my girlie at the time bought me for Christmas! Luckily my bro had a 20 gig one that was wasn't using and said I could use it until I sorted myaelf out a new one so technically I haven't paid squat for two iPod ha ha ha!

I wanna get a 60gig colour one though but I'm terrified I'll fuck it right up, it's gotta be all about the insurance in case I get struck by a sudden attack of butter fingeritis again.

You're right JP WHERE IS OUR COMISSION APPLE!!!???

Ditch the iPod and get an iRiver - 40 or 60GB, never breaks and - importantly for all these DJ's - a line input so you can record all your wonderful vinyl straight in...

oh my god u lot, ive really tried to sit and concentrate on this thread, but whats all this "gig" talk?? As long as it plays music, whats the prob?? All this technical talk is going straight over my head!!!

Sorry babe, not that technical at all. The "gig" is short for "gigabytes". Basically it's just the amount of memory storage the player has, in other words how much music it can hold. The little mini and nano iPods have 4, 6 or 8(?) gigs of memory which is the equivalent of about 1000+ tracks. The one I currently have 20 gigs of memory and can hold about 5000 tracks (I think). So basically the more "gigs" the more music your player can hold.

Hope that helps!
