What’s the worst film you’ve seen?
I’ve recently had a run of really, really bad films recently and it’s been pretty soul destroying to a certain extent. I had the displeasure to attempt to sit through Adam Sandler’s Jennifer Aniston Rom-Com “Just Go With It” and last night the marginally less disappointing Ricky Gervais penned “Cemetery Junction.” It got me to thinking what’s the worst film I have EVER seen? It’s a hard one. I’m not talking shoddy production values and shoe-string budgets, in fact you can forgive a film made on a budget of £2.50 for looking like it was shot on a pin-hole camera fashioned from a used toilet roll, it is the big budget films, the blockbusters that are the major competitors for title of “WORST FILM EVER” in my books, simply because they have the budget and the capacity to be so much more. Officially I believe “Troll 2” has the title of “WORST FILM EVER” and I’ve seen this film and let me tell you, apart from the boobs on display in “Just Go With It” Adam Sandler’s waste of space isn’t a patch on “Troll 2” for entertainment value.

So what’s the worst film . . . EVER?

Or should I be asking what is the DSI voted worst film . . . EVER?

Si

why I bothered to watch it is even more of a mystery.

I started to wonder that when he began masturbating to the video camera footage of the girl in the bikini. I'm a horny shit but if my arm was trapped under a boulder and I might be on my way out, I don't think I'd like my cold dead body to be discovered with my keggs round my ankles, video camcorder set up in front of me and jizz all over the place. . . i'm just saying.

Besides, I think he totally missed the point, should he have waited until he was freed and then use the hand that was trapped under the boulder to jerk off with . . .

Yeah, thought Blair Witch was really good. Certainly a noteable landmark in the genre, which a great deal of films since then owing their success to it.

Just a shame about that sequel.......

Damn straight when you say "noteable landmark," plus has one hell of an image in the last few frames that has stayed with me since my first viewing. Loved the way the ending was ambiguous but at the same time neatly resolved if you were watching at the beginning of the picture yet while stil remaing ambiguous once again.

"AI"
I stood up twice in the cinema thinking that this monstrosity had finally come to an end, but no, they just kept shoveling on the shit. Twice it could have feasibly ended before it did. Twice.

This will make me unpopular but Lost in Translation was the film that story forgot.

Oh and Serendipity. Why, John Cusack, WHY?!!

They quite clearly deserve a shoeing.

Or an introduction to the works of Matthew McConaughey.

Its basically the reason we dont hang out as a house hold. Our tastes dont cross over at any point whatsoever. Not even basic TV program preferences.

YES

Also, Mr & Mrs Smith with Brangelina was absolute fucking turd, considering they are actually a couple that presumably have sex with each other, the on screen chemistry was non existent!

Obvo this is just my opinion (and ive voiced it about this at length before) but Lost In Translation is a brilliant film. It's in my top 5 of all time easily. I reckon those that dislike it should spend a bit more time trying to understand the superb way the subtle chemistry between Murray and Johanssen begins to develop, all set against the quirky absurdity of a Japanese backdrop. Both leads are perfectly cast, and the supporting actors are all excellent as well. Even the soundtrack rocks. I think it's a great film that's expertly observed by Sophia Coppolla, and rates as a personal best amidst Bill Murrays fairly legendary acting career.

But then that's just me.

True, but who should be allowed to cut their hair short? I reckon young Emma Watson actually looks better for it. Can't think of anymore right now.

I don't think much of Natalie Portman to be honest, she's pretty she's just not sexy.
