TV Psychic - Maddies Dead (ws)
I don't know who's worse, the psychic, the Sun for publishing or the Telegraph for jumping on the bandwagon......

telegraph.co.uk

The medium, who has allegedly “sickened” the McCann family with his predictions, said the little girl would soon be reincarnated after joining the “spirit world”.

Mr Acorah, 62, said: “I know her parents are convinced Maddie is alive and I’m really sorry – but the little one has been over in the spirit world for some time.”

In a bizarre interview, based on information Mr Acorah claimed he had received from a spirit guide, he told the Sun newspaper: “I don’t think it’ll be long before she reincarnates.

“When children pass over who haven’t had full lives I believe they choose the time to come back in the same form again – as another little girl.”

The newspaper quoted a source close to the McCann family as saying: “Kate and Gerry are sickened. This character Derek Acorah is nothing but a self-publicist.

A spokesman for the couple added: “Kate and Gerry believe their daughter is alive and the Metropolitan Police are currently pursuing an investigation to that effect.

“If anyone credible has any credible evidence that she is alive they would come forward.”

Mr Acorah, who used to host television show “Most Haunted”, added he was surprised his comments had upset Madeleine’s family.

“I would hate to offend or upset the McCanns as a parent myself,” he said.

He has claimed he received his information from a spirit messenger called Sam, shortly after Madeleine vanished from a Portugal holiday resort five years ago.

He said he had been asked to travel there to assist with the search, but had contacted Sam to seek guidance before leaving.

He said: “I sat in my meditation room and I asked the spirit world and Sam confirmed she was dead. It is horrible but he said there was no purpose for me to go there.”

Mr Acorah added he did not travel to the Praia da Luz resort to spare the McCann family any unnecessary suffering.

“I wasn’t going to bring extra misery to them,” he said. “I do know that they will find out what happened to Maddie one day.”

Mr Acorah, who made his comments to the Sun while promoting his latest tour, is proclaimed “without question, the number one television psychic in the UK” on his website.

He rose to fame on “Most Haunted”, where he would communicate with spirits, before moving on to present “Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns”.

The McCann family, who have released a photograph showing what they believe their daughter looks like now on the fifth anniversary of her disappearance, hope a new police investigation will allow them to finally discovery what happened.

I thought you'd locked the car?

Left the Keys with Safra as she likes to play with Keys. Safra accidentally opens the doors, junkie gets in and exchanges grubby 2p coin for Keys.

This package holiday apartment could be a death trap, what with the shoddy foreign wiring and whatnot, we best sedate her as we've done before with a few sleeping tablets.

What did they do with her body? It's pretty unlikely that giving a child benzos would kill them straight away anyway, it might fuck them up and cause respiratory failure or cause a seizure but they wouldn't be dead immediately.

The outraged middle is so quick to have the mass media wool pulled over it's eyes.

Disposed of it.

I don't know as a) I'm not a doctor and b) I don't drug kids on the regular enough to know all the in's and out's.

So you do admit to drugging kids - just very sporadically - when the opportunity arises ?

It's not that easy to just dispose of a body, you don't chuck it in the bin like an empty carton.

If they buried it then animals would have dug it up and it would have been found, they didn't have a boat so if it went out to sea then they paddled it out and it would have washed up on shore. There aren't any other fail safe ways of really getting rid a body and I don't think either would have had the nous or knowledge to do that.

I regularly drug children and myself and once saw an episode of E.R when I hadn't smoked that much weed, it would take a fair amount of valium to kill a child, far more than you would need to sedate them.

My response was worded in such a way that I thought that was implied.

an episode of E.R

Fair enough, I am willing to bow to E.R. and it's knowledge.

Could've fed it to the pigs. Plenty of pig farms in Spain.

I think given the timings of it all that it is a fair assumption to make that they had nowhere near enough time to dispose of a dead body.

Oh right. And you would have just stood there waiting for the line to go down in the que.

Hmmm, do we fess up to this error, and get rightly pariahed by society as a whole, or else cover it up by disposing of the body, getting our friends to lie (conviniently leaving a 40min gap in a couple of stories, but hey Spics can't count so we'll be fine) and acting like she was 'taken'.

40 minutes to dispose of a dead body? Come on Matthew, I had you down as more intelligent than that mate.

That's just the bit that was unaccounted for - if you factor in that several of the stories could've been manipulated in terms of elastic timing...

Forty minutes to wrap up a child in a suitable covering, walk out of a hotel carrying it unseen, find a spot to bury it, with no spade, in the dark, in a foreign country that you have little geographical knowledge of, and do it so well that several years later it still hasn't been found. Lets take into account that they were middle class doctors as well and not mafia hit men, it's a pretty far fetched story Wub.

That's what they said about Shipman.

I think the most likely story is that a predatory peadophile, probably a fisherman or a boat owner, was skulking about in the hotel dribbling over all the fresh faced little beauties round the pool during the day. He decided to pop back and stake the place out slyly, maybe noticed that the McCanns had taken their kids back to the room or simply chanced it. Abducted her, slung her in his boat, nonced her, then dumped the body somewhere close to Morocco with a load of fishing weights where she'll never be found again. One of the McCann's experts reckoned there was a DNA trail that led to the sea, it's the most obvious scenario.

No, at the magazine rack, grabbing the latest "Good Parenting", with no clear view of my car as a van has pulled into pump 2

I must admit at first I thought they had something to do with it, and now, years on I don't think they had anything to do with it at all.

Yes, I suppose they shouldn't of left her on her own, but nearly every parent has done something like that. It's not their fault and although I'm a bit sick of hearing about it and fear the worst for Maddie, I know if it was me I probably wouldn't give up either. They probably do feel guilty, any parent would but that doesn't make them bad people. I do have real empathy for them and their other children.
