We've lost 60% of our team in the last couple of months, so I've been working overtime to get as much cleared as possible from our backlog. My regional head got wind of this from various account teams I look after and wanted to say job well done.

We couldnt get near the fireworks because it was too busy but luckily we stopped on a bend in the barricade so had a full view anyway. They weren't anything special.
I didnt even get any sausage as the queue inside ally pally for sausages was at least 30 people long and the bar was 10 rows deep.

I went last year, and whilst the display itself was pretty damn good, the Ally Pally crowds and queues afterwards were just ridiculous. They opened up the halls to have some kind of beer festival in there, it was taking 45mins to get served, doors were getting shut to stop overcrowding, meaning we got trapped in a corridor with our round of drinks not being allowed back into where our group was sitting.

Wasn't really bad organising in terms of the staff, they were just doing their job. More just volume of traffic that was there.

That is what was inside this year. I saw the queues and decided to go home, it took us 90 minutes to get out of Muswell Hill but it could have been worse.

Next year I will stick to my local council ones - they're just as good as Ally Pally and I can walk home if necessary.

It was the same this year, but we had taken our own booze, and nobody stopped us. Oh and instead of queing for the bar, there were loads of fit barmaids in Bavarian dirndls delivering beer .. we stayed till it shut.
