The Unofficial What Are You Up To This Weekend Thread
Friday

A night at the dogs, as they say. Never been before should be a good laugh.

Possibly meeting Wubbles and his young lady afterwards.

Saturday

Fondue and England Vs Wales.. Wales are gonna wipe the floor with those white shirts, good times!

Late Night Gimp Fight. A live sketch show done by some of my old youth theatre/6th form/drama school buddies. Always brilliant.

Sunday

Dinner with my housemates to welcome our new resident.

On the stereo today.. The Sub Slayers radio archive. soundcloud.com

I was randomly looking for a radio station on my clock radio last night so that I might get something good in the morning. And I woke up to this

soundcloud.com

Jay Cunning (and someone else) from Sub Slayers smashing out loads of Future Jungle in the morning. WIN! Has put me in a great mood for the day.

Apparently we get free food with our tickets, I imagine this is what we're getting!

That'll be the burgers. Don't. Though you're obviously going to do it anyway so I don't know why I'm even trying to convince you otherwise!

Wimbledon dog track is fine, I used to race a dog there.

Best thing to do if you're unsure is at the bottom of your programme you'll have the 3 main tipsters (racing post, tote). They give you an idea of the dogs they think will win. Would be for example;

4-6-1
6-4-1
1-4-6

I'd do a fiver on 4 and a fiver on 6 and hope for the best.

Or possibly not, unless you fancy a swift pint down The Manor after you're out of the dog track (seeing as the pub is walking distance up the side road of St Georges)

Late Night Gimp Fight. A live sketch show done by some of my old youth theatre/6th form/drama school buddies. Always brilliant.

Though we are doing this tomorrow night with you.

Friday

- Night in with a book to unwind, been a tense week at work

Saturday

- Supposed to be going to Kempton Races with my mate for his 30th, but despite a weeks worth of chasing the various lads going, no one has managed to confirm details/times/anything so bollocks to the lots of them
- Late night gimp fight thing with Lizard

Sunday

- Lie in
- Day in Brighton visiting mates, seeing mate's new sprog and generally getting some fresh air.

Dont think I've ever gambled on anything before. Will definitely have a go tonight though.

Do a single, reverse forecast and a tri-factor each race. Use a mix of the top 4 dogs in the betting. It usually works for me.

Single = Obviously one dog to win
Reverse forcast = pick 2 dogs to come 1st and 2nd in either order
Tri-factor = 3 dogs in any order.

You can do them for a pound or less each race. The forecasts are usually quite good, but if the tri comes in you're laughing all the way to the bar.

Yes, your Twitter posts have become ever so slightly formulaic of late....

TODAY

Hospitality @ the O2 Academy in Oxford for some watered-down D&B from High Contrast/Friction/Logistics

SATURDAY

Not a lot. Probably indulge in some Ableton

SUNDAY
Something that doesn't cost much.... Maybe feed the ducks?

Not if it's the sit down. They do a silver service thing and they come and take your bets at the table on wrist computers. If you are up t5here you will also get a summary of the papers' choices. Make sure you look for that and do the bets I have said using the papers' picks.

I did think that but I figure if i pester them enough, eventually they'll listen to me. When i spoke to a Crossrail representative yesterday and told them about Wednesday nights activities, they assured me it wouldn't happen again. Obviously nobody bothered to tell their staff last night
