What’s the worst film you’ve seen?
I’ve recently had a run of really, really bad films recently and it’s been pretty soul destroying to a certain extent. I had the displeasure to attempt to sit through Adam Sandler’s Jennifer Aniston Rom-Com “Just Go With It” and last night the marginally less disappointing Ricky Gervais penned “Cemetery Junction.” It got me to thinking what’s the worst film I have EVER seen? It’s a hard one. I’m not talking shoddy production values and shoe-string budgets, in fact you can forgive a film made on a budget of £2.50 for looking like it was shot on a pin-hole camera fashioned from a used toilet roll, it is the big budget films, the blockbusters that are the major competitors for title of “WORST FILM EVER” in my books, simply because they have the budget and the capacity to be so much more. Officially I believe “Troll 2” has the title of “WORST FILM EVER” and I’ve seen this film and let me tell you, apart from the boobs on display in “Just Go With It” Adam Sandler’s waste of space isn’t a patch on “Troll 2” for entertainment value.

So what’s the worst film . . . EVER?

Or should I be asking what is the DSI voted worst film . . . EVER?

Si

In Cage's defence he changed his name from Coppola to avoid getting any industry favours just because of who he was.

Yeah I am sure all the people that gave him parts had no idea who he was and he worked in McDonalds busting his arse as an unknown until he finally landed those dream roles, showing in every movie his capacity to not be exactly the same for character he has ever played!

I thought Cage was awesome in Face/Off. Probably about it.

I think that may of been more to play down the nepotism sometimes linked to the family. As he didn't seem to avoid auditioning for or starring in FFC films.

Probably a DSI film & TV discussion, though did you think Nicolas Cage was good in the films bought up earlier, or that they were good films or films enjoyed which happened to have him in?

face off was all about travolta.

broken arrow is a shit film, nicolas cage might be shite, but christian slater is on another level of shiteness.

again i think the film may be bearable because travolta plays a decent bad guy.

Titanic. Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet, especially after all the memorial kerfuffle.

Even worse: Titanic: The Legend Goes On…

If you dont' find Will Ferrell funny then you have mental problems. Like an old old wooden ship.

Defo, step brothers had me in stitches, bit of pee nearly came out.

ANYTHING with Will Ferrel in it is complete and utter gutter-shite

It hurts as you're a friend to hear you say this...

Sorry dude. The thing I find most baffling is that pretty much everyone in the world seems to think he's some sort of God and I really just dont see it at all.

Highlander films = The MOST Scottish Spaniard EVER and the MOST French Highlander EVER.

All they had to do was a small bit of re-casting. They had ALL the essential players right there in front of the camera.

One moment, I am basing my post on information revealed in the original Highlander. There was no mention of him being Egyptian, however if you are referring to the sequel you may very well be right, I have no idea as I watched that film once when i was a child and it came out on VHS rental, so memory is hazy.

I do recall that in the sequel we find out they are actually aliens . . . .

Sorry bud, but he says in the first film, when he is trying to pursuade Connor not to get attached to his wife, that he was born 2,437 years before in Egypt (he also mentions his marriage to the japanese girl which is further expanded upon in the second film).

NB I'm no Highlander buff, I am simply able to check IMDB
