Bruce Lee would kick the shit out of Lenny McLean who was basically just a big lump who couldn't fight for shit, he got beaten up by Johnny Waldorf twice who weighed 12.5 stone to his 20!

Bruce Lee would render him unconscious before McLean even knew what was happening. The only way he could win would be if he fell on top of Bruce Lee and crushed him to death by accident.

If he gets hold of Lee, he will crush him between his fingers.

Yeah but Bruce Lee is too fast for him Mclean would be lunging in with wild long swings missing by a mile, by which point Lee has double round housed him twice and broken his jaw! Lenny McLean was just a big thug that beat up far smaller guys outside pubs for money, he was never a professional fighter or skilled athlete and would have been beaten by any decent professional heavyweight boxer of even domestic level.

At boxing, yeah. I would back Mclean to get a hold of him at least once in a street fight.

I'm the Lenny's side, there's way too much mysticism attached to Bruce and the Hollywood hype machine plus the fact he died a while ago. Watch the following 25 second clip as to why I believe Lenny would literally wipe the floor with Bruce Lee . . . At 17 seconds into the video Lenny wipes the floor literally with Mad Gypsy Bradshaw.

P.s a minor irritation for me is too many people in this world quoting "Dragon" the movie as if it were the real life story of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee back injury was caused by himself performing Good Mornings.

Dan Inosota wrote the following:

"Good Mornings: A word of caution about this exercise. Lee performed this movement to strengthen his lower back. However, one day in early 1970 he loaded up the bar with 135 pounds (his bodyweight at the time) and -- without a warm up -- proceeded to knock off eight repetitions. On his last rep he felt a "pop" and found out later that he had damaged the fourth sacral nerve of his lower back. The result was the Lee had to endure incredible back pain for the remainder of his life. This is not to say that the movement is without merit, just make sure that you perform an adequate warm-up prior to employing, it."

I'd put money on any top MMA fighter or even top boxer beating giving Mclean the once over.

Yeah I am not convinced that Bruce Lee was even one of the best martial artists of his own generation but I still think he'd do McLean as would any trained boxer/mma fighter with even half decent skills. He was so crude it was ridiculous he was beaten several times anyway in and out of the ring by other amateurs.

Bruce lee was 135lbs roughly, given that Lenny was that much bigger and taller, thus having a greater reach, do you not think that would in some way benefit McClean? I understand the difference in speed which seems logical.

Lee would be to rapid and kick him upside the head. No contest.

But McClean would block it, grab his leg and dash im on the floor and then stamp on him like a Blue Meanie from yellow Submarine ;)

Even if Mclean did grab him do you not think Bruce Lee could execute a punch to a pressure point?

Mclean would have to land a lucky punch to win.

I really don't know, as I said i'm not knocking Mr Lee, but I have a feeling that there's a lot of mysticism and Hollywood hype to some extent. All I know is that "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Bruce Lee. It will be like watching Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin again. 184lb vs. 240lb walking weight. Middleweight Champ vs. Former Light Heavyweight Champ. Griffin cannot land a punch or grab a limb.

These clips would probably be a fairer assessment of the size differences but look what happens in them!
