Not in Sydney, its ok for a visit, but at the end of the day its just another city, Bondi is nice for a visit but you wouldnt want to live there, i stayed a while in newtown, but i wouldnt be hurrying back.

Coogee is probably your best bet, but it will be a bit like a holiday at home!

Go a bit further up to Watson bay area as it is a nice area, bit further to commute if you are gunna be working in Sydney.

Personally i would go to Byron bay or Brisbane, top of the gold coast is much nicer IMO.

Nice one mate, will be working there so it's gotta be Sydney, and this is the missus wishes so I'm going with it, I get complete control for the following year which will be a tour of South America.. Funk I'll be talking to you about that one...

Will have a nose :) Seen as the furthest I've ever been is Greece it's all an an adventure

Fanks...

fairplay, while you are there then

Posh - rockpool.com great place

Fun - fortuneofwar.com.au

music - thebasement.com.au not dance stuff that often though

The opera house restaurant is worth a visit but pretentious as fuck

thats all in the rocks area, nice to walk about along the front, some of the little restaurants are cracking. There are some right dodgy areas immediatly across the bridge, but beyond them there is a chinese street market which is great fun, and they love to argue prices! keep an eye out for a place called garfish, won australias best seafood restaurant last year.

I have quite a lot of info from when i was there, most of which is probably outdated by now. Drop me a message if you want to know more, i still have quite a few mates there if you need a tour guide/whatever

Went there recently, great city! Loved Darling Harbour and the Rocks, but Bondi was a massive disappointment. There's better beaches in Cornwall!

Darling Harbour and the Rocks

add Surrey Quays to that. Surry Hills is a nice place to stay which is close to transport over the bridge if you work outside of central.
