Can you feel the rhythm?
As the famous fanta filled fucker said "This rode Oxegen up the arse!"

Good weather, good campsite, about 15,000 people & the best tunes to hit these shores since Creamfields 2002!

Carl Cox & Friends -

Uros Umek worked the tits off that DJM600! Giving it the flanging of its life! Playing an absolutely beltin' set with constant record changes but still managed to keep the beat consistent & perfect, kept everyone dancing & set the bar for those to follow.

Who better to step up to the plate than the re-max master the one DJ who every Techno fan has heard a tune from, whether they knew it or not! Marco Bailey! Marco even pulled on a Tiger head during the set! (Did anyone else see that or was that just me)

The God of the wheels of steel! Dave Clarke erupted on stage with the entire tent screaming his name. Blowing away the crowd with “Way of life” & scratching the shit of his Technics SL-DZ1200! Keeping the set mostly acidic but with a bang bang Dave Clarke sound to it!

Somkin’ his way on stage Chris Liebing had a tough act to follow but knew exactly what to do FIRE FIRE FIRE! Pumping out serious techno beats keeping every foot in the house stomping! Giving us a taste of his new album, if it’s anything like his set @ GG its gonna be a session classic in the making.

Holy Shit! Now I know why Carl Cox is No1. The most interactive DJ… Ever! When Carl took center stage the tent was at full capacity, you could cut the air with a knife & then over the mic “Come on Global Gathering Ireland” followed by a roar from every club nut in the place! The FX & skills of Cox are unparalleled! It’s amazing just to hear how good Carl is live! No CD can do him justice… don’t believe me? Then check out Carl’s mental new site www.carlcox.com

Thanks To:
luscious69lu & the rest or the mad fuckers who went with me, Uros Umek, Chris Liebing, Chris’s gorgeous P.R. Lady who took my photo, fluffy boots, & everyone who let me take their pic!

Cheers,

Cobar.

nice review. you're right about cox, fucking legend he is. only got to see the first 20 minutes of his set but it was absolutely lethal. the sound was definately way louder for cox and the bass coming from those speakers was mental. liebing, clarke, bailey, umek were all great too.
