Situated in the heart of Temple Bar - Dublin’s cultural quarter – the story of the Temple Bar Music Centre starts in 1995. Primarily a venue and performance space, the Music Centre was launched with a view to providing (under one roof) multifarious facilities and amenities for both burgeoning talent and established acts and performers in Ireland. The Music Centre building itself houses the much-respected Sound Training Centre, Elektra Studios (a 48-track digital studio), Temple Lane Rehearsal Studios (7 fully equipped rehearsal rooms) as well as a bar, café and office space. The Music Centre is unique in that all elements of the building are integrated: Elektra Studios facilitate the recording of Music Centre gigs, the Sound Training Centre students can relax and unwind in the Side Bar (and often put on their own gigs in the venue), the Press Department works closely with all facets of the company. TBMC utilises all of its resources to the maximum. For potential performers, we can offer everything from rehearsal time and space, full professional performance facilities, to recording studio time, duplication and promotion.
