MARCO V
Generally Marco V was considered a trance DJ, but his style combines electro-house, progressive house and progressive trance. He releases every month his set 'Top Ten Mix' with the top 10 tracks of the month. Marco V was the resident DJ of the "danssalon" in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. After several years of residency, he began to focus on production. Headlining Innercity in Amsterdam 2000 and mixing the Innercity CD of that year was his first breakthrough.
In 2005 he released the critically acclaimed[citation needed] follow-up to his debut "con:fusion", named "200V" (V also to be read as the Roman 5).
His album Combi:nations III was released on May 22[when?] and he is currently[when?] working on his own new album. With his sound having moved in a 'cross fusion direction' in the last couple of years, in an August 2007 interview on HarderFaster.net he talked about how his sound had evolved over the years, and how while he still liked to play tough sounds, he's always looking for something new and different to keep things interesting.
He ranked as number 44 on the 2008 DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs List[1] down 24 places from 2007, and he ranks[when?] as number 33 on The DJ list website
