Originally from Belfast, London based DJ Greg Downey is a name on everyones lips. Recently signed to PFA alongside Eddie Halliwell and Adam Sheridan, Greg can be seen regularly playing at The Gallery, Goodgreef, Slinky, Inside Out, Passion, The Coach and he has been chosen to play at Eddie Halliwell’s Fire It Up Events. The last year has seen Greg burst onto the international scene with gigs in China, Canada, Germany and Poland as well as making his first appearance for Radio 1 on Eddie Halliwell’s Residency Show. On the production side of things he is signed to Discover, the most talked about trance label of today. His last release Vivid Intent was one of the anthems of 2006, it was Armin van Buurens "Tune of The Week" and also made its way onto the Cream Ibiza Compilation. Greg's many achievements at such a young age, alongside his outstanding technical ability and desire to succeed, will make 2007 a massive year for him.... ... 2007 saw Greg record his first Live As album on Discover. Recorded live from this years mega Planet Love Festival in Northern Ireland, the album captured Greg's energy as a DJ and was featured as "Album of the Month" in Mixmag. ... 2008 was Greg's biggest year to date, clocking up airmiles across the globe from South Africa, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Argentina and more. Greg was snapped up by Paul van Dyk for his label Vandit. His first release Stadium was a huge success and was Mixmag's Cream Ibiza anthem of 2008. Greg was also chosen by Paul van Dyk to remix his track New York City which appeared on his massive Hands on In Between Album. On the tougher side of things his track King Dong on Discover Dark was hugely popular with Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell.
