Only with a better Pioneer Technics of course, but who has money for two Technics SL-1200 MK6 Limited Editions, two Pioneer DVJ-1000's, and a Pioneer SVM-1000 Mixer? Unfortunately that isn't the items you see in my photo but of course it is the ultimate dream setup. Can't be topped.

Allen & Heath, I am sorry but no way in hell. Not saying that the stuff isn't good, but when there is already superior on the market then why bother. Everyone knows Pioneer's Pro DJ line is the top of the line benchmark in DJ equipment. Ask any real DJ. Allen & Heath, who backs that stuff anyway?

Allen & Heath also only produces DJ and club mixers only, they don't make any kind of turntables or hardcore effectors. I see where the soundcards on some of their stuff is 96kHz/24-bit. The same as on the top end Pioneer stuff too. The only difference is Pioneer also has 32-bit DSP, which in dummy terms means absolutely zero sound quality degradation in your music, none! Not just that but it mixes videos too in high-def for VJs, the effectors are better, etc. etc.

When you see Tiesto in concert, or almost anyone in the Defected In The House crew you already know what they are pushin', quality man. Personally I know that Japan produces the finest in home and business audio equipment, if it's coming from anywhere else I just generally stay away.

It's safe for me to say I stand correct on this one. You don't have to listen to me, listen to the other pros. Try this equation, Pioneer SVM-1000 mixer = benchmark

When you see Tiesto in concert

he uses a xone 92 in the in concert videos!!!!!!!

the only reason that pioneer is the alleged "industry standard" is because they put it into big clubs for free.... A & H have no need to!

i could go on and on about the faults in pioneer mixers but ive said it so many times before im not gonna bother!!!!! we put an 800 in the toilet ( no joke ) after 30 mins and pit the 92 back on the stand!!!! i have photo evidence to prove it!

I think that's full of it, when I act as a mobile DJ sometimes I always bring a lightweight Pioneer DJM-300 model mixer. It's the lowest end model they have on their product line and that thing has been working for me for years just fine without fault or fail. To believe the high end ones are not of quality, I ain't believing that for one second because I use those too. You should read more into the SVM-1000, it's good shit. Anyways, you'd be just as well off with any of them really. Check out the DJM-1000, 909, 800, 700, 600, and 400. Each offers something different and unique. It's pretty simple really, the more you pay, the more goodies you can expect.

If it's true, the next time your boys want to stick any of these in the toilet tell them not to because I will gladly fork the money over for the shipping and handling so that they can air mail it to me.

Lastly I don't think Pioneer just gives the clubs this stuff, these clubs make enough money and buy these things of their own free will and by choice. In concerts and events I can see where there may be sponsorship and Pioneer lends the equipment out, but I highly doubt after all these events worldwide someone is just going to take it home with them at the end of it.
