This is a daytime event (e.g. starts late morning or early afternoon - see below for times).

The Masai Mara tribe in Kenya, Africa have kept there traditional way of life for hundreds of years. Some interesting facts:

The way to tell an authentic Masai tribe member is to look at the markings on their face. At age 5 they are branded with a circle or semi circle. This sounds barbaric but tribe members are proud to have this done and celebrate this with a ceremony.

At age 15, men are circumsized without anathestic.

Men are encouraged to be polygomous (have more than one wife) to keep numbers of tribe members up.

A dowry to marry is 30 cows.

Masai believe they own all the cows in Afica.

The staple diet of tribe members is blood, milk and meat.
