Returned From Beirut - Final Report
Hi All,

Well I'm back, feeling very very jaded having had hardly any sleep for an entire week but it was well worth it. The club was amazing the people where so friendly and the whole country is very laid back and relaxed. The club itself was very very white but with a very trendy crowd who are well into there music, dancing on the tables and really getting into it.

I've uploaded all the pictures I took in the club from Thur/Fri/Sat as well as lots of photo's I took in Beirut and the surrounding areas if your wondering why there's a picture of a bridge being built its because the original bridge got taken out by Israeli's in the middle of the night last year for no apparent reason just before the clubbing season started out there killing it completely as the long list of A list Dj's the had booked a pulled out. There's also a picture of one of the old buildings thats not been re-done since the war still showing bullet and shell holes. To show how random this country is 100 yards from that shot to bits building there is Ralph Lauren shop! There was also a Ferrari dealership in a random part of town, not that a Ferrari would last more than 2 weeks with the drivers and the state of the roads out there.

I've also put up pictures of the archaeological dig that is just outside of Beirut which shows remains of civilisations further back than the Egyptians. Every new civilisation building on top of the remains of the previous. This ment they found building on top of other buildings as well as a large amount of gold and other items that are in exhibitions all over the world. There is a huge amount of stone in the site that is not local to the area so it would have all been shipped in, this stone has now also found its way into many of the new buildings there so its also impossible to reconstruct anything. The castle that stands is made up of many different types of stone dating back to many era's it also has some metal cannon balls in it that the British fired at it.

Anyway click on the event above to have a look at my pics.

Elev-8 will be going back to Beirut at a later date for some mammoth beach parties. We really can't wait.

//Next Event

Are next event is in Norwich on the 23rd Of June, we have a blinding line-up of both breaks and electro so make sure you get your names down and tell your mates.

Cheers

Tim

Glad it was a good one Timothy J. Buttsexor! In celebration of your trotskiglobeness I decided to show you a photo of a gorilla that looks like a cross between Anne Widdecombe and Nick Frost from Shaun Of The Dead.
