I have always preferred the harder, filthy side of hard dance music and I have always been more interested in music that pushed boundaries and deviated from what was normal. I am pretty biased to the fact that I don’t have much love for anything that doesn’t have a relentless 4/4 kick, the more extreme styles have always appealed to me more than any other. I used to prefer only to mix gabber in my sets under the alias of DJ Deadbeat at various squat parties and anti-social gatherings in the south east such as Rave 2 The Grave, Illicit Sounds and Experimental. Having spent the last few years out in Birmingham I now much prefer Hard Nrg! I currently have a residency at Hellbound and have played for Bounce 2 This and Shaft with more TBC!
