In 2006 I completed my second full season in Ibiza. If you've never been why the fuck not? Although if you are happy with your life in the UK don't because you will want to move here. It's the magnetism of Es Vedra.
Deuce Soundsystem hosted 'The Famous Manumission Toilets' for the second year running.
In 2005 I set up and co-ordinated the first 'Deuce Ibiza Workers Awards' including organising & promoting the awards ceremony and after party. In it's second year it was rebranded the "Ibiza Workers Awards 2006 - The Best Of San Antonio in association with Deuce and Ibiza Travel Shop". I'd like to take this oppotunity to thank Martin from Ibiza Travel Shop for his support.
I now work for Factory Events, the team behind the many club nights and festivals held at The Custard Factory in Birmingham.
As well as working for Factory Events I also run Deuce Soundsystem and Satanic Sundays which is a Sunday party in Worcester playing minimal techno and underground electro house.

On Saturday 13th June 2009 1500+ people were either inside, queuing outside or on their way to what was destined to be one of the biggest free parties the city of Birmingham has ever seen when disaster struck.
An intoxicated individual (from hence forth we will refer to him as "Lemming") was refused entry and then decided to clamber over a building and leap/fall 30 foot into the River Rea in an attempt to gain entry. The end result of this was the Police shut down the party which we'd worked so hard to put on after only an hour of being open while they tried to fish him out.
DEVASTATED!!
The lucky 400+ people that had gained entry will testify to the huge amount of effort that had gone in to making this party nothing short of spectacular with awesome sound, incredible 20 foot LED lighting backdrop and of course the giant 40 foot Ghetto Blaster. To those and the many more who were left outside we thank you for your support and hope you will join us when we do it all over again on
SATURDAY 19th SEPTEMBER only this time....
NO LEMMINGS ALLOWED!!!
The original party was to be the launch of The Deuce Soundsystem Ghetto Blaster. Obviously the Ghetto Blaster will once again be located under the railway arch blasting out minimal techno & deep house.

deuce / djus:s / noun (the deuce) (in exclamations) the Devil
Deuce Soundsystem organise & promote events in the UK (Birmingham).
We also hire out sound system and DJ equipment in the UK.
We also spent two summers promoting events and hiring sound system equipment in Ibiza.
As featured in "The Famous Manumission Toilets" '05, '06.
Deuce began life on Saturday 12th June 1999
playing house music at a house party on a house boat.
It's always been about house music.
We also love techno, breaks,
drum n bass & "minimal" (as people like to call it).
We like to call it all, quality, subterranean, electronic music to dance to.
On Saturday 13th June 2009 - ten years after on from that first ever party Deuce Soundsystem launched their Ghetto Blaster DJ Sound Stage.

Music Festival Organisers
Why not offer one of your sponsors the opportunity to have their
own music arena at your event? With many branding possibilities
the unique nature of the Ghetto Blaster is guaranteed to attract a
crowd and raise awareness of your sponsor’s brand.
Marketing Companies
The Deuce Soundsystem DJ Sound Stage is perfect for product
launches and Road Shows in either it’s Ghetto Blaster guise or
with your clients own logo printed on to the banners. Our team of
designers can produce bespoke banners to promote any product
or brand.
Party Promoters
Have you found an ideal space to put on a party? Maybe a field, a
warehouse or perhaps a disused railway arch. All we need is a
12m wide space with a 4m height clearance. Hire the Deuce
Ghetto Blaster and you’ve got an awesome sound system, stage,
DJ booth and lighting system all in one.
Technical specifications
The Deuce Soundsystem Ghetto Blaster DJ Sound Stage consists of a 7.5
tonne truck with a 12m x 4m aluminium scaffolding framework bolted to the
near side. A series of printed banners made out of Ultra Mesh and Digi Sound
material are then attached to the frame to give the appearance of a 1980’s
style Ghetto Blaster.
An awesome 20KW sound system hides behind the banners. This is made up
of the following;
· 6 x Fane double 18’ bass bins
· 4 x Fane 15’ mid horns
· 6 x RCF full range top cabs
· 20KW of professional power amps
DJ Booth specifications
· 2 x Pioneer CDJ1000mk3
· 2 x Technics 1210
· 1 x Allen & Heath Xone62 DJ mixer
· 2 x ASS full range monitor cabs
As the sun sets a series of LED lighting, strobes and lasers bring the Ghetto
Blaster to life.
