ALAN WILSON



Alan Wilson's dj career first started to take form in 2001 after catching “the bug” for trance music at the legendary gatecrasher club and NEC events, what initially started out as bit of fun learning how to beat match let alone using the EQ’s turned into an obsession in everyway, from buying every trance tune available, to practising night after night, hour after hour the skills needed to one day be lucky enough to grace a set of 1210’s in club.
As His skills progressed so did his style of music, although he enjoyed the sounds of trance it was harder edge that started to inspire him especially after seeing the likes of dj Scot Project and Dumonde.
After a short period, although still loving the feeling Hard trance gave him, he stumbled on a genre by pure accident called Hardstyle after finding back street record store in Manchester…this stroke of luck helped him shape not only his sound but define himself self as the dj he wanted to aspire to!

On discovering hardstyle it help him to begin to create his own do style as well as finding his signature tunes within his chosen genres to help him really standout from the many brilliant dj’s on the scene. Not content just “playing records” he honed his skills on the deck’s by adding turntable elements to his set’s by cutting , chopping, looping and well timed but enhancing EFX, it is these element’s that Alan has become extremely well known for, his unique track listing’s and his ability to manipulate the records at will to create some creatively different to the tracks that he plays live But not only that, he quickly realised that you need to be crowd entertainer and showman to really impress! as today’s dj has to have many weapons in their arsenal to stand out from the fantastic talent that grace’s the hard dance scene today.
In the time that followed on he successfully impressed not only clubber’s but also promoters at gigs at many of the finest hard dance nights and underground nights in the uk to which then led him on to earning some proud residencies to which he is still extremely grateful for, as they have helped get to where he has got to in the difficult scene today.

Alan has gone on to play at some of the finest hard dance nights and underground nights the UK has to offer, he has also gained through lot of hard work some prestigious residencies up and down the country through not only impressing promoters, but the masses of clubbers that have become fans along the way!

Alan had an amazing 2008 due to being hand picked as one of only two uk based djs along with dj Rascal to join the prestigious ELUSIVE dj agency in holland which looks after some of the worlds greatest hardstyle artists, and also being signed to the fresh forward thinking E-UK agency here in the uk...alan, with the support from his management alan team will showing his unique talent right across europe and also going from strength to strength right here in the uk.

Away from dj-ing alan is welcoming and the return of the mighty hard trance night in manchester called Binary but this time with Alan this time being at the helm as a co promoter.
if that wasnt enough he has also now embarked an co-promoting the new manchester hardstyle night SECTOR-9

on top of this alan was asked to become the uk artist and bookings manager for the prestigious dutch dj agency ELUSIVE, being given the responsabilty of taking care of some of the biggest names in harder styles europe has to offer and dealing with there promotion and PR keeps Alan exceptionally busy how ever makes Alan exceptionally proud to be given this role. ..and with this alan now co runs E-UK with his collegue little dave taking care of some of the finest uk talent and up and coming talent these shores hasd to offer!
