Hey, i'm Amelia (some call me Mia) i was born & brought up in the heart of Snowdonia in beautiful North Wales. I have a very lovely but extremely strong-willed five yr old daughter called Llawen... when she finally arrived on christmas day, we wanted to give her a welsh name & one which had some significance to the special day on which she was born... AT christmas time in Wales the welsh say 'nadolig Llawen' literally meaning 'joyous christmas' so we decided to call her 'Llawen' which translates to 'Joyous' in welsh. So i've been very much a full-time mum for a good five years now (which i'm thouroughly enjoying may i add!) but all has changed quite a bit in the past few months as she has just started school full time ~~~ I love spending time with my family. I have a great relationship with both of my parents which i think is very fortunate, as not everyone does! We have great times together ~~~ I can be quite a creative person when i put my mind to it, i like to make my own cards and clothes etc ~ i used to make clothes for myself a few years ago, but these day's if i get the time, i tend to make things for Llawen ~~~ I'm also learning welsh part time through the wlpan in Bangor, i actually learnt welsh in primary school, but had forgotten most of what i'd learnt & wanted to be able to help my daughter with her home work etc ~~~ Apart from that & of course loads of other things i get up to, i'm also involved in helping to set-up a monthly Techno night called 'Looney Toons'... which consists of lugging large amounts of PA equipment around, hanging uv backdrops, taking the money on the door...etc etc etc!
