A.M.G. started djing in 1996 when he was 15, playing happy hardcore / gabber and giving out mix tapes to friends. Within the first year of getting his decks he started playing in his dad's pub with a friend. There were only one or two people in there but they enjoyed themselves and it gave them the confidence to play to others.

At 16 he started a music technology course in college and there he learned how music was actually made. Some of the things he was shown are now a bit dated but at the time they blew his mind. While he was at college, he started doing mobile disco's with a friend, playing various bars, schools and doing dodgy weddings and birthday parties. They did this for a few years until A.M.G. gave it up due to the fact that he could not stand to hear 5ive or Britney Spears ever again! He knuckled down at college and began producing his own tunes. Over the years he had continued to buy vinyl and his djing styles changed from Funky House to Trance and then he found Tidy Trax...and fell in love with Hard House.

After 4 years at college he got his degree and has since developed his skills using Propellerhead's amazing software Reason. He started creating his own sound and ended up winning a remix competition for 12 Inch Thumpers and had it pressed onto vinyl. He was over the moon with this and it gave him the push that he needed to further what he wanted to.

Since then, time moved on and things changed...he started djing with a friend (Warbgasm) playing Electro House. The Disko Ticklerz were born! Together they played loads of gigs across the Northwest and did various remixes. All was going well but A.M.G. was just bursting to play Hard House again.

He became Assistant Manager of his local record shop (Reality Records) and slowly but surely got back into the hard scene again. After a year or so he decided to go it alone and left the shop to concentrate fully on producing and to set up his label, Beatabix Recordings. A few months down the line his daughter Ayla was born, and now A.M.G. juggles producing with changing nappies!

Now armed with some big tunes and remixes under his belt, he recently became the new resident of Kubik Hard. The future looks bright for this rising star of Hard House / NRG. Look out!
