29 Year old, Capricorn, DJ, based in London.

Began Djing in my native South Africa about 7 years ago now, started off as most of us do canning it on the dancefloor and I was so hooked on the music that was being played I just had to start playing. Fortunately for me my friend organised a set of belt driven Gemini Xl 100's and a mixer that must have come out in the 60's anyway it did the trick. After many a frustrating evening it all came together one evening and my first sweet mix was born.

From there it pretty much got easier and more enjoyable, being based in Durban at the time it was pretty hard to break into a scene that was not exactly thriving so I found myself playing house parties for friends and pretty much just wherever else I could get behind the decks.

I was part of Lapis Lazuli who was formed by a good friend of mine Manoj Budhu, we where the only progressive party crew that was in Durban at the time. We played at various underground venues in and around Durban.

Entered the Heineken International DJ competition in SA and managed to make it through to the SA regional semi- finals of the competition which took place at Club 330 and Tilt in Durban. After that Martin Mchale asked me to come and play at Club 330 for an evening which for me was a dream come true as it was where I done my growing up as far as clubbing goes and for me personally was the best club in South Africa. www.330.co.za

Now based in London I have teamed up with my partner in crime Martin Beacom and together we are The 5050 Crew.

Through a bit of networking I met Tony Taylor aka Tony Aggro who hosts the Silly Sunday's parties at Play Bar, Old Street London, you can catch me playing there most first Sunday's of every month.

I have also recently met up with an old friend from Durban Gareth Rossi aka Sleazy G who does the Dirty Dubbin parties all over London (if you haven't heard of them where have you been?) they have some really big things lined up for 2007 so look out for their up coming events.

I'm a pretty easy going easy to get along with fellow so if you see me around come and say hi, I'm always keen to meet new like-minded people.
