I'm Ãléx, named after the famous explorer, James Haggard, who in 1846 discovered the black country. James was well known for wearing his bow-tie at a slight incline to represent his lack in ability to put a boe-tie on straight. His favourite bow-tie was given to him by a friend of his called Jane Scribblewell, who's sense of humour was somewhat lacking. It is well documented that she would often open her front door when somebody tried to tell her a knock-knock joke. This open door became one of my root principles to how I should treat people and express myself, leading to my motto, "can you be quiet out there, I'm on the phone".
