Antiworld was a dream conceived by Enrico Sorbello in London in 1999. Beginning by running small events and concerts in Local Establishments, what started as a hobby, began to snowball into a full time commitment, organising up to one event every week in and around North London, Enrico took on Antiworld as a career and moved full time into event management from his previous position in the Hotel Industry. As time progressed these events and concerts gathered yet more momentum, passing through many different locations in and around London.
With turn outs of 1800 on a weekly basis, and becoming increasingly popular, Enrico took the decision to move into bigger events, progressing to such venues as the SeOne Complex in London Bridge and the infamous Brixton Academy. The sheer volume of work then being undertaken, including Promotion for other events, CD and Merchandise Distribution, DJ Bookings and International Tours, meant Antiworld had to have a slightly more cooperate restructure in 2004.
This culminated into what is now known as the Antiworld Events, a collective of promotion and music industry companies centred around Enrico and his business partner Ross Eden. This collective now incorporates Three major promotions companies in the Midlands, South West and London, an online ticket and merchandising company, a DJ and Event Management Company, a Production Company and two overseas Touring and Promotions Companies. Working with well known and trusted Alliance Business Partners within the Security, Sound, Lighting, Audio Visual, H&S, and Legal and licensing industries, you can really feel assured that everything is going to be taken care of.
This was very much a deciding factor in the decision by the management of Alexandra Palace to run an Antiworld concert there in December 2004 with no fewer than 8 Live Acts. The first late licensed event held at the palace in over 6 years. What is now regarded as a landmark event on the London scene, something that really heightens the pinnacle of the achievements of someone who started only six years ago.
With old fashioned business ethics, and a genuine ability to ‘think outside the box’ the Antiworld is very much an event management and promotions company to be trusted. With standards as high as any other in the industry, you can rest assured that an Antiworld Party will have every aspect of the event covered.
