Been to Ibiza 11 times (now I'm giving my age away!)...Mind you only 10 have been clubbing holidays

I have to admit that I've done my time in clubs on student nights; namely a lifetime in Volts!

Oh if you do see me in a club don't ask me for any pills - I don't take any - honest - yeah I really don't - go on blood test me if you don't believe me - any resemblance to somebody dancing completely off their head is purely coincidental.

Second oh - please let me have a little space, don't burn me with cigarettes or bring glasses anywhere near me.

Third oh - I have some gripes (I moan a lot - you get grumpier as you get older)...blokes on the pull who get in the way - OK girls you may like the attention - WELL GO GET IT SOMEWHERE ELSE - THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO TALK TO YOU (heaven forbid!). I'm dancing on knife edge balance....I sure as hell don't appreciate a male pretending to be all dominant and hormonal nudging (or pushing...yeah they definitely do that) me. I'm guilty of doing enough of that whilst playing football (apologies to all those I've injured...Derek, Iain etc.)...but clubbing ain't the place to go into uuuuggghhh mode...
Final oh - I've got some more apologies of my own to make:

To all the people that I've accidentally hit on the head when waving hands in the air....I'm sorry, really I am...I freely admit getting carried away.

To all those girls that have got anywhere near me and realised that I'm dying of dehydration, dancing my nuts off and losing a good 2 pints of fluid - please forgive me for being really sweaty - I don't want to be but it happens...given the choice between dancing my tits off (and your nipples can chafe somewhat!) and standing still and dry - well if you ever do see me, you'll know which option I usually take!

Latest....Just got back from the opening parties...my 12th trip....Really Great...so good I may well go back twice more this season......BUT I have come out with a few lessons on this particular trip:


You never know how really stupid you are till afterwards when you talk to your friends!!!


When you've missed out on something that you'd never thought would happen, and were too
dumbfounded to believe or realise what was happening...OMG it hurts....


I'm amazed at what changes the body and mind go through when humans start feeling
particularly strong emotions...whether the emotions are justified or not!




I love that island...I'M GOING BACK!!!!
