I'm a DJ & Promoter for Summer Summons

I dabbled with decks at free parties and friends house parties in the 90's, then finally got properly set up a few years later.

After a stint of playing solo, I teamed up with Weasel in July 06 and created a girly B2B duo adequately named Illegally Blonde and enlisted the help of veteran DJ Hooker Alex(and Manager of Inner Circle DJ’s)

My preference had changed a lot since my hardhouse parties in the 90's and during the time I worked with Weasel we were playing gigs with an eclectic mix of Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, following with Breaks, Funky House and Vocal D&B.

So far we've held residencies within Bristol and Cardiff and after a year together we have both scaled independantly in different area's. Weasel & I still bounce together for special sets.

I happily joined forces with Ab's and we launched the Bristol Club night -SUMMER SUMMONS.
AbbieH & I were very passionate about what we wanted to inject back in to the Bristol club scene, this being getting back to funky chunky house music, arm-goosebumping house classics, meshed with new uplifting electronica & a few twists of vocal D&B with the emphasise of fun being put back in to the club rather than being pigeon-holed to the minimal genres.


Summer Summons started off with a Friday night in July at Bristols underground club Timbuk2 and it succesfully went off. We have now continued the buzz with Summer Summons presents Autumn Antics & Winter Warmer.We have had some amazing guest DJ's including Discotheque boys, Funky Onion, We Like To Party, Tom Budden, James Talk, Jake, Chicago's Ian Cole and now our residents Dave Kirik & Lewis Bradley amongst others...


With an excellent SS crew, 2008 looks like it is going to be the year to spread the funky infectious-ness of Summer Summons across the UK.
My Passions do not stop at DJ-ing (However they do NOT take precedence over my music!!) but I am a trained fire poi performer and body paint artist. See the links below for more info....
