A bit about Ben-SmugglingDuds




I'm Ben

I've been well into dance music since about the age of 12, ever since I heard “The Prodigy – No Good” on one of my mam’s copies of “Now something” everything else was just shit! I went to my first proper club night (Shindig in Newcastle) on my 15th birthday and never looked back since.

I’ve been all over raving but Snowbombing has to be the best, combining extreme sports and clubbing is mint, especially interesting when you haven’t been to bed and you’re off it at the top of a mountain! Also the fact that it’s so personal, you get to have crack (or annoy) with the DJ's as they’re in the same resort and hotels as you all week.

Music and clubbing has not only had a big impact on my social/private life but had a big influence on me professionally. I always wanted to combine my 3 loves of music, clubbing and design in someway. I couldn’t do the music and clubbing bit together because forgetting the point that I am not the best at mixing in the world I would always want to be going off it in the crowd. So I decided to mix clubbing with design and came up with my new STASH pants and urban fashion label called SMUGGLING DUDS.
