ben vennard aka vendenburg had been mixing for almost ten years. ben first got the bug when his mate got a set of decks for xmas 97 and hes never looked back. bens big break came 2 years ago, when a close friend started his own night in durham called blend.

blend booked some big names which ben had the pleasure of playing along side. people like lisa lashes, lisa pinup, john kelly, dave pearce, ray davies and from that ben got a call from tez walker the promoter of one of the best harddance events in the noth east . . . . Mayhem.

after playing the opening set in the second room tez was so impressed that he booked ben to play again, but this time in the main room and warming up for the legend that is k90. more sets follow at mayhem playing along side trance guru jonh o'callaghan, hardstyle icons daniell mondello and his wife express vivanna but there is no question that bens biggest moment was warming up for andy whitby at this years mayhem xmas party.

depending on what time ben is playing all depends on what style he plays, weather it be booty shaking funky hardhouse to head down banging nrg, bens sets never fail to deliver with a mixture of fresh new tunes and dancefloor classics, ben is going to be a name to look out for in the next few years.
