BEN WILCOX - DJ/Promoter -Formerly Helped dsi.com set up in Portsmouth (2003-2005)

Hi I've been DJing since 1993, started my own night in Portsmouth back then, all old skool hardcore which finished in 95'. I played under the name of "HEADRUSH" (hardcore), "JAMOS" (drum n bass) and played with all the usual suspects Rat Pack, SlipMatt, SY, Hixxy, Dougal, Gammer, Ratty to name but a few.

Changed music styles in 95' as hardcore nights kind of faded out. House music took over the seen. Moved to London for 7 years DJing all styles of Hardcore\Hard Dance\house\trance. Played for all major nights in London at the time. Sunnyside Up, Trinity, Fevah, Fahrenite, Bagleys, Frantic, Catch 22. Pickle, Qwench, Raindance, Just Groove, Logic and many more....

I play many various styles of dance genre: Hardcore\Drum and Bass \ Hard Dance\Trance, funky house\ old skool house , old skool hardcore.Started introducing clubbers to dsi.com portsmouth in October 2003. By the following year I'd got about 600 signed up. Then the site went big time and everyone was spotting and adding events to the site. The best person I ever introduced to site was the sadly departed "MR. E" The Guy was a Legend!!

Helped promote all majors nights on the site in the past, Breakneck, Contact, Fusion, Punk Funk & more...
