Carl is a very energetic and passionate DJ. He has spent the last 4- 5 years gaining much valuable experience playing at various clubs in and around his local city. He has the ability to work a dance floor and has a natural feel as to what track to play at the right time. His style can cover a range of Dirty house, from the more progressive sound to a more bouncy electro sound right through to the more banging and deeper sound. He rarely sticks to one sound during his sets as he likes to take it through as much of the spectrum as the dance floor allows.
During his time he has supported such acts as, Tim Sheridan, D Ramirez, Alex P, Amber D'Amour, Filthy Rich, Sucker DJ’s, Deepgroove, Sharp Boys, Dirty Funker, Kid Circus, Workshy Rene, James Talk, Christian Hoff, Will Bailey, Electro Nymph and Wandy.
For the last 18 months he has teamed up with 2 of his good friends to develop their own night Sexylectro which has really grown in strength and reputation. Through promoting and DJ’ing at this night Carl has increased his own reputation and has developed an increasing fan base along with most of their carefully selected residents. The Sexylectro team is keen to build friendships with other promoters from similar genre nights up and down the country to push their residents in other cities as well as introducing fresh talents to their own night. The team is also involved in a couple of outdoor events being held locally over the course of the summer.
Last summer Carl increased his experience at an international level. Carl was presented with the opportunity to travel to Egypt for a week to play at club Havana in Hurghada. Carl immediately jumped at the chance and flew out within a couple of weeks of the offer. Originally only booked for the one night the promoter was so impressed after Carl’s performance that he was offered two more dates to play during his stay out there, which of course he accepted gratefully.
Bookings from around the country are now starting to appear for Carl and he is very keen to work his style in other cities and countries to increase his experience and education of the house music scene. Carl is extremely reliable and committed to his work as a DJ, and always approaches the decks in a professional but lively manor and is usually found dancing just as hard as the crowd.
