Alright people! The name's Tim, I'm from sunny Hong Kong, but now I'm based in even sunnier Nottingham! I recently graduated from Nottingham Trent uni where I studied Sports Science & Management. I listen to many things, mainly electro and tech-house, and of course the magic that is trance! My favourite DJs at the moment include Armin van Buuren, Sean Tyas, Gareth Emery, John O'Callaghan, Eddie Halliwell, Eric Prydz, Jon Carter, and of course the all time number 1 - Ferry Corsten!

Now, the words 'Legend' and 'Superhero' get branded about far too often nowadays, but you are looking at a genuine legendary superhero in the flesh! By day I'm a mild-mannered customer services operator called Tim, by night I'm a hardcore super-hero raver that goes by the DSI alias of Chimony, or Chim for short. My special powers include - sweating, stomping, sc00ping, and getting truly spadangled. My secret weapon is known only as the 'Massive y0rp', whilst my signature move is the 'Tiny Meep'.

In my spare time I try to find the meaning of life. I thought I found it once, I got my sc00p on and got really spadangled. An ice-skating mongoose told me to dance the Balero for Children In Need! It turned out to be one of my mates who was only playing a practical joke on me... by the way that's Chim's word of the year - 'Spadangled'.

These days I now run a Trance & Progressive night in Nottingham called Vaccinate. We've got big plans and high hopes, so feel free to send me any demos or portfolios because we're always looking for the best young talent. In addition to promoting, I have also recently started to DJ, so if anyone needs a trance, progressive, house, breaks or techno DJ then give us a bell ;-)

Although I'm loving life in Nottingham, I just can't seem to find many decent trance nights here! So recently I've been having to scour the globe for and new and wonderful places to stomp - I've reached as far as Gatecrasher in sheffield - which was amazing (hope it comes back soon!), before running out of petrol and having to hitch hike home. (I'm not a flying superhero, the cape is purely for style, much like Batman.) Godskitchen (Air) in birmingham is always a good night out, especially on a trance night. But it's all about Firefly at the Garvey Ballroom in nottingham if you want the stompiest choones and quite frankly the friendliest people you'll ever meet! The nicest atmosphere in the history of the universe ever recorded ever!

A super-hero's life is a lonely one, you can never get too close incase one's enemies gets hold of your secret identity and go after your friends. However, super-hero Chim has managed to keep a close circle of mates in his time...

Pete, love you mate! Lizzy - goon central! Sheep - happy days yoth! And all the rest of you nutheads, too! Jamie, Kelly, Perry, Danielle, Mikey, George, Ricardo, Big Tone, Vix, Doog, have I missed anyone out...?



Not forgetting my various other 'getting wrecked' partners, Georgie, Maria, Ruth, Dave, Jamie, Louise and Cat. And all the other Crasher lovers I've had the pleasure of hitting Magna with! Plus a special shout out to Maria, aka Euphoric-Meme - whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the Crasher birthday. Only one word can describe her - awesome, haha! Bring on the good times, Maria! Woo!!! :-)
