..... im a DJ on the london circuit. Im really into my Tech and Electro house, and i've been known to dabble into prog and breaks in my sets. I'm a firm believer that sets should be kept interesting by chopping up the styles and the tracks. On here is hopefuly a whole bunch of stuff that should let you know where im at next, what im up to and what to expect from me. Hope to see you soon!
Here is my latest mix. Check back every now and again as i change it pretty frequently....

Its been anything but a rapid climb for Chris. His interest in dance music started pre-millenium with a passion for the sound of Trance & Progressive House around 1999. However still living under the control of his parents, decks where seen as a waste of money and where not allowed. I was only in 2003 that he bought his first set of decks which he had to sneak into his bedroom under the cover of darkness at 2am!
After spending the rest of 2003 learning how to beat match and building up his collection of tunes, he help lay on his first party in early 2004. With a group of friends from Winchester, they overtook The Soul Cellar in Southampton for what was to be the first of two gigs. Due to dwindelling numbers on the second night, "3D-04" failed to make it out of infancy.
Nothing much happened between 2004 and the tail end of 2006. All this time was not wasted though as many hours on the decks in his bedroom resulted in many demos being made and sent out. Also, it was in this time that Chris made a change in musical tastes. From being a fan of Hard House & Trance, his tastes mellowed into a passion for Tech House, Deep House, Progessive and Techno. Some work as a roadie for an under 18s Disco led to some DJ work playing pop chart hits, but no 'real' gigs.
It was only in November 2006 that he got his first break out the bedroom that was to be the first of many. In early 2007 he met Rich Weller and Greg Matthews of Bete Noire who have played no small part in getting Chris oppetunities to play out on the London bar scene. Now with a modest collection of past gig dates to add to his CV including gigs at some of Londons most prestigious clubs, such as Turnmills, SE1, Egg, SeOne AND Ministry Of Sound, things are showing no signs of slowing.
Chris makes no attempt to hide his admiration for a certain James Zabiela. "James's technical ability is something i can only dream of imitating" says Chris. Not wanting to be a complete copy cat, Chris trys not to sound exactly as Zabiela plays, but simply gets into his mentality of adding your own unique touch to the tracks played by creating a live edit using the wide range of equipment avaliable. Mainly effects units.
