My passion has always been music. Since the tender age of 12, I've been a huge fan of dance music. I bought my first decks at 16 and have never looked back from then.

I got my first break playing deep house at Quench at Room in Hull in the 1990s. Since then, I've played in many different bars and clubs in and around the Hull area. I've played at That Bar (now Residence), Revolution (Hull and Lincoln), Rhythm Room, Welly (Deja Vu) and Zebra.

In 2005, a friend approached me to play at a new night that he had started at Rhythm Room called Our House, where I played for around six months. I was then approached to play at Deja Vu, a night with a solid reputation in Hull and across the UK, where I still play monthly. Whilst at Deja Vu, I have played on the same bill as Pete Tong, Demi, Andy Daniell, Simon Dunmore, Richard F, Joey Negro, Stonebridge, Jonathan Ulysses, Sandy Rivera, Justin Long, Buckley and many more. Also, during the past two years, I was asked to play as a guest DJ at Zebra playing alongside talents such as Daley Padley and Workshy Rene. Zebra was a new club in Hull back then, now a name in its own right.

Following successful sets, I now promote my own night at Zebra called Underground. The night runs on the second Friday of each month and we play tough, chunky, tribal, electro and tech house. We aim to bring some of the more unique and unusual sounds to Hull. Guests so far have included Frenchy and Jon Woodall (Back2Basics, VeryVeryWrongIndeed & Whalebow - Leeds), Leon Dipace (Speedqueen - Leeds), Synckro (Ministry of Sound/London), Oliver Portamento (Sessions - Scarborough), Lou Start (Quench), Stoop (Twisted Grooves/Our House), Mark Crumbs (Twisted Grooves/Our House), Katie Luv (Seduced), Waff (Sona Sound) and Dave Woodhouse, with some great guests in the pipeline. Things are looking bright for both myself and Underground, Watch this space!
