Phobic Records was founded in March 2008 by Richard Belsom and Claire Ripley with a view to showcase some of the worlds greatest undiscovered talent alongside some of the best established names from the minimal, tech house and techno scene.
Phobic will be bringing you the freshest underground sounds of now, pure underground electronic dance music from the worlds greatest producers. Our philosophy is originality over obvious, obscurity over conventialism.

Biography:
Originating from Maidstone in Kent, a town famed for generating an influx of talent currently flooding todays dance scene, DJ Claire Ripley has one sole aim - to play and produce outstanding and unique underground house music.
No stranger to the scene, Claires unquenchable passion for dance music stems from over a decade of treading the boards of various clubs and events across the globe. It was this passion that inspired Claire to combine her several years of clubbing with her love of dance music to fulfil a role that would place her on the other side of the turntables.
Claire describes her sound as ranging from laid back deep hypnotic beats through to acid riffs with driving basslines. During her DJ sets she likes to showcase the finest underground music ranging from deep house, tech house, progressive house, minimal and techno.
Previous DJ sets include warming up for James Talk, a three hour set at the Fling presents Annie Mac pre-party, Cubism at The Key with Perc , Boxing Day at the Egg, The Aquarium, as well as a monthly residency for Cubism, the night to accompany the label run by Tony Thomas, Richard Belsom and Mark Gwinnett.
In addition to Djing, Claire has recently commenced on her production work which has included 3 remixes for Cristian Padararu, Carlos Francisco and Mark Gwinnett as well as her own tracks which have recently been signed to the same label as artists such as Tom Pooks, Estroe, Jeff Bennett, Klauktraum etc, label to be announced shortly and more tracks on their way...
Claires sound encompasses house, minimal and techno and she welcomes the opportunity to play more sets as required.
