Hailing from Jastrzebie Zdroj, Poland, Cosmique’s insatiable passion for music, along with his infectious personality and eye watering DJ skills have propelled him to the forefront of the London club scene. His taste has always been diverse, and he cites electronic pioneers Depeche Mode as his earliest musical influence (listened to on a cassette tape stolen from his sister, of course!) His newly ignited curiosity for fresh and diverse sounds led him delve deeper, and inevitably towards the work of such seminal UK dance artists as Massive Attack, Underworld and Orbital.

After making the pilgrimage to the dance music Mecca of London, UK in 2005 Cosmique has never looked back, and has wasted no time in gaining a hold on the hearts and minds of all the clubbers that he plays to. His open attitude to a wide range of musical styles is interwoven through all his DJ sets, and allows him to adapt his sound to any given situation. From the latest underground promo to crowd pleasing party sounds, meandering through house, progressive, trance or techno – Cosmique’s sets are always delivered with the dancefloor firmly in mind.

After a chance meeting with Marcus Robson, Oliver James and Jon Passey in 2007, he was asked to join the Nuestra Casa club night. Their mission? To bring melody, soul and fun back to the Capital’s hallowed dancefloors. Since then, as part of the Nuestra Casa crew, Cosmique has DJed at various venues along side such legends as Pete Gooding, Nicky Holloway and Rowan Blades - and he even rocked a packed T2 room at Turnmills just weeks before the club closed down for ever.

Not content with only blowing minds from behind the decks, in recent years he has been tirelessly honing his production skills and, alongside a host of original compositions, he has created bootlegs and remixes of tracks by artists as diverse as Infusion and Justin Timberlake – with his hallmark rolling basslines, rich melodies and jet-propelled breakdowns featuring heavily in all.

During 2009, Cosmique’s fascination with blurring the lines between DJing and production really come to fruition, with the release of a series of seamlessly pitch perfect, harmonically blended Ableton fuelled DJ mixes - which were met with high praise after being aired on the Loop Music internet radio show.

The future promises to be even brighter for Cosmique as he aims to take digital technology out of the studio and into Nuestra Casa’s DJ booth and beyond.
