D-Jaw is an exciting DJ and Producer from London, who is always animated behind the decks playing with a passion and natural flare that fuels any crowd. During his sets he likes to add a surprise element in the form of extended breakdowns, loops and tricks followed by infectious beats. He embraces all types of music and is versatile in his approach evolving with the scene. Currently he is pushing Tech and Jackin’ House with Tribal beats and Accapellas. He is not limited to playing House and is just as comfortable playing Techno, Electro and Breakbeat.

He has played alongside and on the same bill as X-Press 2, Micky Slim, Stupid Fresh, Leeroy Thornhill formally of The Prodigy, Bigger Than Jesus and Alex Gaudino to name a few and has thrown himself into the world of Producing. Collaborating with Citizen 42 (AKA Andy Tau of Infrasonic Records) who’s tunes have featured in the world famous Radio 1 Essential Mix and are currently receiving support from the likes of Judge Jules and Pete Tong among many others.

By the time he was 18 he was working in bars and clubs in Faliraki as a cocktail barman and then worked on the Greek island of Zakynthos (Zante). The following year a friend told him about a club in Zante needing a resident DJ, so he jumped on a plane with a bag of CD’s and few records and headed for a meeting with the owner.
With no experience of playing to a crowd and not even knowing how to beat match Dan presented himself as a House DJ from London and stumbled through a trial set which earned him a residency at Boozerz Nightclub.

A few months later a resident left and the other was moved to another club, this often meant that Dan found himself playing six hour sets up to seven nights a week, during this time he realised that he wouldn't be happy unless he made a career in music.
He was asked to return the following season but declined so he could build up a following back in England and started playing in local bars and clubs in East London to get his name about.

That was five years ago and since then he has played for promotions in London and Manchester such as Two AM (Mixmag), Spin Out Records , Sick! On The Dancefloor, Perverted Audio, Geek! and holds a residency with underground favourites Hoi Polloi.
Last year he and two other DJ’s (Billy The Kid and Terry Richards) formed The Ketrano DJ’s (pronounced Ket-tra-no) who had a long running weekly slot on Phatbeats radio and have since headlined the second room at Matter and the main room at Herbal among others.
