Davey Asprey’s Biography

2006/2007:

Davey Asprey is a young, refreshing and enthusiastic DJ who has appeared on the trance scene of late. He showed a great interest in music from a very young age, listening to new wave in the late 80’s and early 90’s, his passion for EDM music evolved, luring him to the white isle of Ibiza in 2004, 2005 & his debut in 2007! The moment that Davey’s DJing passion was conceived, was watching and being influenced by the one and only Eddie Halliwell - who is still his number one rated DJ to this day. Davey has also been greatly influenced by some of the best trance DJ’s to be bread out of Europe - Marcel Woods, Sander Van Doorn, Richard Durand and Marco V.

Over the last two years, Davey has been proving himself to be a DJ of great diversity, playing not only Trance, but Tech Trance, Techno, Tech House, Tribal House, House & Electro. His first appearance was at Nailed (Leicester) in 2006; following this he secured residencies across the UK. He recently achieved every budding DJ's dream... his debut on the white isle that is Ibiza on August 22nd 2007! This was a fantastic start to Davey's career; it has led him to play alongside the likes of Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Richard Durand, Tylor Leigh, David Forbes, Claudia Cazacu, Marcos Euphonic, NuSense, Jordan Suckley, Vicky Devine, Krafty Kuts and Tina Martin to name a few!!

Determined to make his mark on the scene Davey also works for Goodgreef, Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Tylor Leigh, Barry Connell and PFA. He has also helped out the likes of Adam Sheridan, Greg Downey, Paul Webster & John O’Callaghan doing web management and PR/Promo as well as launching/co-promoting the GroundZero Project/Events in the Midlands & the North of the U.K.

2008:

After a busy 2007 Davey hasn’t stopped to take a breather.
January started off with a bang as Davey made his debut appearance for Qudos in reading alongside Claudia Cazacu, Marco Euphonic, Jordan Suckley, Tina Martin & Dave Little who Davey played a back 2 back set with.

30th May was another big gig for Davey as he landed a gig alongside one of his heroes, the legend that is Judge Jules at the Monkey Run in Ripley, Derbyshire. Davey ended the night playing a blend of techy uplifting trance which went down a storm!

August saw Davey Djing at the VW festival alongside Sonny Wharton and Rebekah where he played a genre defying set that got the tent rocking till the early hours of the morning. August also saw Davey making his Debut in the main room of Judgement Sundays in Ibiza this year alongside Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Richard Durand, Tylor Leigh, Vicky Devine & Krafty Kuts. After the summer came to an end Davey has been working hard and finally did a follow up to the summer showcase mix of last year which is getting rave reviews from the likes of Judge Jules, Jordan Suckley, Mr. Sam, Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon) to name a few.

With gigs coming in from around the UK from Cream, Peach & doing Exclusive House sets for Funkdeluxe. 2008 is set to be a big one!
