Hmm wheres should i start?

Im from the wonderful land of birkenhead(oh dear god i hear you say!)

It all started back in 99 for me when i heard my first 'ardcore tape....Sy tape i think...i was in love(not quite in love as that would be bizzare...but hey i enjoyed it) and hooked.

I used to go to a mates house ,Dj Kurt, and watch for hours cluelessy as he banged out some dirty beats on his computer and played on his turntables...left me in awe..i never thought id eventually own my own pair of tuntables...(im getting to that now)

A few years down the line at the end of 03 i finnaly blagged father fucking christmas for my own pair of decks...and this episode of randomness and mentality started off,big time!

Before these decks arrived though a mate jamie lent me his ttx's(is right mate)and i went on a mental mission with my "mentor" to get my head around the technical side of things.

It only took me a week or 2 to learn to beatmatch (Nice one shmama lad!) and a few months to learn to scratch and from then on i never looked back!I played a variety of cheese and vocal stuff..untill a year or two down the line i found my feet after listening to hardstyle....i never started playing it though..it pushed me to stretch the boundrys of hardcore to the limits with me regularly playing randoms random stuff hard as fuck,but not breaking the hardcore limits!

My Style of Djing evolved into Hard and Fast,no vocal Dirty Bouncers With a hint of Turntablism....Birkocore.

working in a record shop helped me gain my first booking at a night in birkenhead called AURORA...nerve wracking yes,packed ...erm no. got to start somewhere though!

My first real break was when at the age of 17 i was accepted for a dj competition in Total Bedlam@The venue,Nottingham, where i managed to secure second place (albeit it was very fucking close..Respect to Mark Trainor for the win ;) )then the bookings started rolling in...(well not rolling more like starting to happen)
