Randomly stumbled into The Edge last Saturday night after watching Ireland vs France in the play-offs with Irish Kev & Rich. Some female dj ('Rainbow Selecta?') was playing some quality drum'n'bass tunes which got me busting some moves!
According to their (Mashed) Facebook email promo which I've only just read, they also had hard-dance, bassline, dub-step and trance, but I don't remember hearing any of those - but then I did get us out of there early as I couldn't afford any more rounds! Not sure when we left but my mum said I got round hers (I was crashing their for the night) about 3 half 3 so God knows what happened between leaving The Edge and getting home!

Went to Boff's Harmony Reunion up Bluenotes recently. Was dissappointed with the rained-off turnout but it was great to be out with three of my old clubbing buddies for the first time in ages. For some reason I decided to go for a massive walk from my mate's to my bed at my sister's a few miles away as the sun rose the next morning; my feet were killing me, I got a bit sun burnt and needed to sleep but it was strangely compelling!

Had a random clubbing experience a couple of nights ago when I took my mate over to the UEA (after he'd come over from Belfast for the footy) as I remembered from the DSI email that there was something on there that night. We then got rather messy at Lost Friday and I did some "spaz dancin" (his words) to some awesome jungle, dancehall & dubstep. Quality night. Quality sounds. Quality people. Lovely old job!

Haven't been on here for ages and other than the other week I don't think I've been clubbing in ages either. Mate was up for the weekend from Kent, so had a quiet few in the new Vine, new Rumsey Wells & then the new-ish Media. It was the first time in there for my mate since her very messy hen night in the days of The Loft. Had a good laugh in there but didn't realise it was an all-nighter and so ended up ordering a pizza on PoW at half five in the morning when all the piss-heads had desserted! Was good to hear that a stranger thought I had some "nutty moves" on the dance floor - the old boy still has it in him!
The other recent occasion I was out dancing was to the awesome Bad Manners at The Waterfront where I got soaked in sweat but had a massive smile on my face all night - absolute quality!
