cheers for checking...deepbluesessions is an organisation running underground parties for grown ups in weird places..we started in early 2000 at the ole' k bar bringing down the likes of mr c,colin dale, jay hannan etc and then went into hibernation.
we have now returned with the offshore sessions boat parties and a few other projects pending...we are one of Bournemouths most experienced and OLDEST deep house nights...watch this space...

Gary Ellis: 20th anniversary this year spinning tunes..started at glasshoppers alongside the Hat at the height of the rare groove revival (still known to spin rare groove if oiled with enough brandy), five years as one of the original residents of the K Bar,....... keeps trying to retire..fails miserably..has made more come backs than Muhhummed Ali. Plays six decks 2 DJs next to Steve Northern..only likes real house music (usually heard spouting things like "this aint what Frankie Knuckles intended...play something from Detroit/Chicago/New York!!! Europe is shite" usually after previously mentioned brandies...

Steve Northern: short arsed northern monkey brought up Tarzan style by the well renowned DIY crew from Nottingham (the UK kings of Deep House)... brought the style down here about seven years ago and prefers the warmer climate.(spins it soulful every friday at soho in christchurch) (usually heard boring the pants off everyone with things like "yeah great party but im sure the crossover in the left tweeter of that speaker stack in the next room is fucked...either that or the sound systems just shite...will somebody give me a leg up so i can get to the bar please???)

Bronson: previous manager of Fat Trax records.......always kept it underground and technically one oof the best around...dont know much more about him but he blows it up every time.(Usually heard saying nothing at all...only using the music to speak...or maybe telepathy)
