I live in (Sunny?) Weymouth.

I used to go to the Operah House for Slinky, Refresh & other nights, Club X & Club Destiny (or which ever club is now called Dusk til Dawn!) in Bournemouth, Dance Academy @ Plymouth, Country Club @ Wardon Hill, Enzo's @ Salisbury, Liberties / Klimax @ Dorch for their hard nights.

For the last couple of years I have been prefering a slightly more chilled night and have been spending Saturday nights shaking my ass to funky house in the top bar of Banus.

My ideal night would be funky house, deep house, electro-house and tribal house with a smattering of dirty breakbeat thrown in. Sadly, you don't get that round Weymouth. In the past I have been to the likes of Bedrock @ the Beach in Brighton and Fabric in London for good nights, but alas I'm too lazy to drive that far for a good night these days! The only time you seem to get breakbeat here, is with drum and bass as well. Doesn't any one round here realise that breaks and house are bloody good bed-fellows? :op

Sadly proper clubbing has pretty much dried up in Weymouth again, so it back to Bournemouth for a good night out. My current fav club is Crank for their BedBug and Hed Kandi nights. It's always a friendly crowd who really love their music in there... and that is what I like!

If you see me out out and about, maybe throwing some shapes on the dancefloor, come up and say Hi!
