hello hello, Im Helen (or Hels, or Hellie or Hezza) Im a ikkle mackem lass now living in Preston, where I seem to have no mates apart from all these fab people I meet out and about in clubs and via DSI. I'm a bit of a half arsed spotter as Im usually too busy bouncing around like an idiot.
I like nearly any style of music except country and western, so youre just as likely to find me stomping (at the front, in the centre ;) ) at a Goodgreef / Kiddfectious / Tidy / Polys event as you are to find me (at the front, in the centre ;) ) of the mosh pit at a gig.
I love any and all things Tidy, I also love the legend that is Eddie Halliwell, which seems to be a bit uncool at the moment, but I never was one to follow the crowd... Going for a bit of the harder stuff it has to be Luna, Alex Kidd, Cally & Juice, Kutski, Organ Donors, Pin-Up, Andy Farley and Morgan- but hey, all the girls love Morgan!.
Oh Oh Oh! Must praise Paul Van Dyk after seeing him do a 4 hour set at Amnesia... was absolutely blown away...and again at Cream in L'pool this Oct, 3 hours worshiping at the alter of trance... absolute legend!
Bandwise I love Maximo Park, Futureheads, Biffy Clyro (a recent addition) and The Wonderstuff
Had a really busy year so far with loads of Goodgreef action, loosing my Detox & Kiddstock virginity, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Glastonbury and Tidy Weekender. Had some messy times and loved tham all!
It seems customary to mention your ravin buddies in this bit, so 'hey hello' to the boys in the North West who humour me from time to time (and usually end me up at dodgy after parties!), the gorgeous Festival Boy from Glasto, and serious big big love going to Caz and Jimmy... love you two to bits!
