I’ve been into music since i was about 15 years old and loved my garage/dnb/trance etc (being from essex, there wasn’t much else around for me). I had listened to some of the old happy hardcore briefly but never really caught on to it. I was always catching the local pirate stations with my mates and we developed a passion for it all. Only started goin clubbing locally once i turned around 17 which was all i knew about at the time lol.
Then, in 2001/2002 nye, i went to millenium dome for my first rave and was still loving the ’commercial’ side of things and that year started going to the festivals etc.
The whole Hardcore journey for me started at NYE 2002/03 when one of my mates said ’lets all go to this slammin vinyl party in milton keynes. they got this hardcore there and it’ll be wicked.’ I’d only ever heard it a little before but had heard of the sanctuary (for its dnb). Well, what a night that was. didn’t even make it into the dnb room. the vibe amazed me and i couldn’t explain how good a time i had. So, at every oppertunity up until now I’ve been going to hardcore raves where i could and loving it!!!!!!



That brings me to my djing. i started mixing about 2 and a half years ago and about s year ago i managed to get a show on www.remanissradio.net playing old happy hardcore. Since then i’ve still got that show and have guested on various other internet radio sites playin upfront hardcore/freeform which is my passion.

I have also join into the promotion team for Hardcore Explosion in Southend which remains the best hardcore and hard dance music event running there. We have hosted a 3floor party on 14th september 2007 at the Royal Hotel, Southend-On-Sea which had hardcore, hard house and tech house in the rooms. Was a top night and are now planning further events.


The future for me now is at 23 to make a bigger name for myself in the scene and also to get into producing tracks as i believe i have a lot of input that i could use to make some unique and uplifting music. I am also getting into mixing other styles of music but hardcore will remain my top priority for the time being.
