Hi, my name is Brett. My Dj name is Crank and I've been living in Chicago pretty much all of my life. As a fan of House music I've loved this form of music since the late 80's when I went to my first club/juice bar 'Casanova's" on the south side of Chicago. The first track that really peaked my interest in House music was the infamous "French Kiss" by Little Louis and the World. I really dove a lot deeper into House music when I first started going to raves in 1995. All of the elements of the scene amazed me beyond belief and I wanted to surround myself with the people and the music on a daily basis or as much as possible from there on out! Nowadays I try to play almost everyday in my apartment even if I'm not playing at a club that particular day. I also love going out to some of the best clubs in Chicago that almost strictly cater to House music. As for venues I've done recently: Zentra, Xippo, 88.1 FM WCRX (www.wcrx.net) and Tini Martini and have been a featured artist in "5 Magazine" in the "Dj Watch" section in our beloved House music magazine that's Chicago based. Each and every time I go out to a House club I find that I meet at least one new person that shares great similarities in my musical interest. Hands down Chicago is the mecca for this wonderful form of music and I'm proud to be a part of this ever-growing love for House music.
