Well, I've just turned 30 and am loving it. All the nonsense I had in my twenties has passed, in favour of a newly-found wisdom and maturity. Aye fucking right!
I love all kinds of dance music from deep, tribal house to funky techno. I just buy the tunes that make me smile, and it seems to work! I'm a resident DJ for a new night in Edinburgh called Edenangels. Check out our website www.eden-angels.co.uk for a couple of DJ mixes and to catch up on the latest news! I've been DJing for seven years and was resident at Burst, Long Weekend, Oot!, and Any Excuse, and have had the privilege of being a regular guest at Mingin' over the years and being involved in Release (the Free Tibet Music Festival) for both years it's run so far, as well as a few outdoor events and lots of radge parties at my friends' houses. I play the music I like rather than 'what's hot'. I've always tended to go for a more underground sound but something I can bounce around to, so I do tend to be jumping around behind the decks with my hands in the air, making stupid faces and shouting.
